Our story began in 1921, when two brothers opened a small haberdashery shop in Dublin, Ireland. As their business grew, they saw an opportunity to bring fine bed linens and other household textiles to Irish homes.
In those early years, everything was crafted locally in Ireland. The brothers insisted on using only the finest materials – premium long staple cottons, lustrous silks, cosy woollens. Every thread was carefully selected, every stitch meticulously sewn.
Word soon spread about the shop’s beautiful bedding sets, cushions, curtains and more. Customers came from far and wide to experience Dorma’s unique combination of comfort, style and durability.
